Lee-Wolfe and Associates (LWA) was founded by Paul L. Wolfe and Yee Sen Lee-Wolfe in 1986 as a landscape and horticultural consulting firm specializing in landscape and horticultural projects in the Middle East and other arid regions. The two principals’ extensive experience with major capital projects in the Middle East began with their professional roles within the Bechtel Group of San Francisco. This overseas project experience set the foundation for the firm’s growing expertise in arid and subtropical climate landscaping and the management of large-scale design and construction projects. Our technical landscape and horticultural expertise is built on more than thirty years of Middle East experience in the design and implementation of landscape projects. We have an in-depth understanding of those factors that contribute to their overall success. We are specialists on landscape plant material, water-conserving irrigation design, irrigation using treated effluent and non-potable water, technical horticultural issues related to soil and water analysis, artificial soils, off-shore plant procurement, and nursery design, construction, and operation. We firmly believe in pro-active project management and coordination supported by strong design and technical expertise to achieve excellence for our projects and clients. Our landscape team members balance and integrate technical expertise with our strength and excellence in site analysis, site planning, community master planning, and creative landscape design. We also specialize in new community planning and land development. For these projects, we have teamed with civil engineering firms, architectural firms, and general engineering contractors such as Wallace Group, a full service landscape architectural, civil engineering and planning firm; the Cuningham Group, an international architectural firm; as well as Robert A. Bothman Inc, a general engineering contractor specializing in sports complexes and large scale municipal landscape projects. We also team with consultants with international experience for architecture, engineering, lighting, water features, and irrigation systems on a project-by-project basis. Mr. Wolfe is a Landscape Consultant for agriculture and international business development. He was formerly affiliated with Wallace Group as Managing Director Landscape Architecture. Ms. Lee-Wolfe was formerly affiliated with Wallace Group as a Senior Landscape Architect. Mr. Simon Hebeler, also formerly with the Bechtel Group, is a Senior Project and Construction Manager and has over 30 years of diverse design and construction experience on landscape architectural and civil infrastructure projects.
